As I am sitting here pondering about my work day yesterday a sense of calmness comes over me. Have you ever had that happen? I have, however, it has been at the beach when I lived in Florida during some of my saddest times of my life. Yesterday would be the other time. I decided to go to The Holler and work for a couple of hours with one of my friends. I have been searching for a new place to work since i work remotely. Ive been to a few places around town as Bentonville is one of the most "original" towns I know. Northwest Arkansas people would know what I mean:). Well friends I found "my" place. As I walked in I knew it would be my favorite place to go. I felt relaxed and free. A sense of calmness came over me. I ended up working for about 5 hours and got so much stuff done. I cant even begin to describe this place. Its almost like a farmhouse industrial modern vibe to it. They have about 1200 outlets around the place to "plug in" and go, and a big screen for presentations. If you dont know I have major hip problems so going somewhere to sit and be comfortable for long periods of time usually doesnt happen. They have couches, long tables to sit between 8 to 10 people, and a conference room you can reserve for your networking meetings. They have a coffee and dessert bar and an adult beverage and food bar. The food is amazing. Vegan selections as well. Here is the kicker folks....it has shuffleboards right in the middle!! Its a definite must visit. The only requirement is that you save a seat for me!!
